Liverpool have completed the signing of highly-rated teenage forward Mia Enderby.
FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Reds this morning.
Enderby joins Liverpool on a free transfer after leaving her former club Sheffield United earlier this summer. The 18-year-old came through the youth ranks at Bramall Lane before going on to star for the first team. Enderby was The Blades’ second-highest goalscorer last season with seven goals in 19 appearances in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
The player has a very bright future ahead of her and she will be hoping to get the chance to express herself at Liverpool.
After joining The Reds, Enderby said “It’s like a dream come true. Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to play in the WSL.
“When I used to talk to my mum, I’d say all I wanted to be was a footballer and my dream was to become the best I can be for my club and my country.
“I’m just really honoured and really pleased and it’s a big moment for me and my family.”
Enderby becomes Liverpool manager Matt Beard’s third signing of the summer transfer window following the recent additions of Natasha Flint and Jenna Clark.
