Sheffield United defender Molly Graham has signed her first professional contract with the club.
FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blades this evening.
Graham has come through the youth system at Sheffield United and she is now a valuable member of the first team squad. The defender has been one of the biggest positives of the Jonathan Morgan era so far with Graham getting a run in the team at the end of last season. The youngster made five appearances for The Blades in the Barclays Women’s Championship in 2022/2023.
It is fair to say that Graham is one of the most exciting young prospects in the Barclays Women’s Championship and it will be fascinating to watch her development at Sheffield United in the coming season.
After signing her first professional terms at Bramall Lane, Graham said “I’m delighted. It’s a club I’ve loved my whole life so to be able to sign my first pro contract here, I can’t wait to get going again.
“To think I’ve come from the academy, gone through each step, it’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for and I’m so excited.”
Graham follows Charlotte Newsham, Bex Rayner and Maddy Cusack in signing a new contract with Sheffield United this summer.
