Manchester United will make their UEFA Women’s Champions League debut when they face French giants Paris Saint-Germain in a Round 2, first leg tie at the Leigh Sports Village on Tuesday evening.

The Red Devils find themselves in European competition as a reward for last season’s second-place finish in the Barclays Women’s Super League. Round 2 opponents Paris Saint-Germain present a stern test for Marc Skinner’s side. They have twice been UEFA Women’s Champions League finalists in the past.

Manchester United head coach Skinner has no new injuries to contend with ahead of his side’s European debut. Defender Aoife Mannion remains sidelined through injury while youngster Emma Watson is out for the season. Evie Rabjohn has not been named in The Red Devils’ European squad while Irene Guerrero is fit to play after missing Friday’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal with a minor injury.

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Jocelyn Prêcheur continues to be without Paulina Dudek through long-term injury and Berglind Björg Þorvaldsdóttir who is pregnant. Brazilian international Ana Vitória has made the squad list, although she could again be unavailable for selection.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League Round 2, first leg tie between Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm on Tuesday evening. Tickets remain available and can be purchased by clicking here.
