Manchester United will be hoping to qualify for the group stage of this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League when they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Round 2 tie at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw when they met at the Leigh Sports Village in the first leg a week ago and there is still everything to play for in the French capital.

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Jocelyn Prêcheur remains without the services of injured pair Paulina Dudek and Oriane Jean-François while Berglind Björg Þorvaldsdóttir is sidelined due to her pregnancy. There are no other notable absentees from The Parisians’ UEFA Women’s Champions League squad.

Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner has confirmed that defender Gabby George has sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury and she could therefore be out of action for up to a year. The Red Devils also continue to be without the services of Aoife Mannion and Emma Watson. Full-back Jayde Riviere is available for selection following minor illness.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League Round 2, second leg tie between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United at the Parc des Princes kicks-off at 7pm on Wednesday evening.
