Manchester City goalkeeper Khiara Keating has signed a new long-term contract with the club until summer 2027.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Cityzens this afternoon.

Keating has come through the youth system at Manchester City before going on to claim the club’s first-choice jersey. The teenager has made 12 appearances for The Cityzens in the Barclays Women’s Super League to date. The promise shown so early in her career has also seen Keating receive a call-up to the England senior squad.

The player has a massive future ahead of her and Manchester City have moved to secure her services for the long-term.

After signing her new contract, Keating said “I’ve enjoyed every moment of the last eight years at this special club. Being a Manchester City player makes myself and my family proud every single day.

“The opportunities I have had have been a dream come true and to know I’m going to be here, my home, until 2027 is fantastic.

“Anything is possible with this team and with the fans behind us, I’m looking forward to seeing what the next few years bring.”

Keating will be hoping to celebrate her new deal with a big performance in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Sunday.
