Crystal Palace attacker Annabel Blanchard has signed a contract extension which will now keep her at the club until summer 2025.

The Eagles announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

Blanchard joined Crystal Palace after leaving former club Blackburn Rovers in summer 2022. The player has gone on to make 30 appearances for the South Londoners in the Barclays Women’s Championship in which she has scored 11 goals. Blanchard is the second-highest goalscorer in this season’s Barclays Women’s Championship with seven goals, a ranking that she shares with Sheffield United forward Isobel Goodwin.

It is fair to say that Blanchard is one of Crystal Palace’s most important players and her contract extension is wonderful news for the club.

After signing her new deal, Blanchard said “It’s a great feeling. I love the club and I love everyone at the club. I feel at home, so I’m really grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey.

“This is probably the first time I’ve felt really settled at a club and I feel like that’s coming out in my football, so I’m just happy to continue what I’m doing, and hopefully I can just bring even more to the team.”

Crystal Palace have announced news of two contract extensions today. Captain Aimee Everett has also signed a new deal with the club.
