UWCL DRAW: Chelsea to face Ajax in quarter-finals

Chelsea will face Dutch club Ajax in the quarter-finals of this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The draw for the remainder of this season’s competition took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland just a short time ago. The draw was streamed live via UEFA’s official media channels.

Chelsea went into the draw as one of the four top seeds. They were exempt from meeting Swedish side BK Häcken in the quarter-finals as the pair previously met in the group stage. The Blues have been handed a two-legged tie against Ajax, a side that have impressed in this season’s competition.

The quarter-final first legs will take place on 19/20 March 2024 with the second legs due to be held on 27/28 March 2024. Chelsea will travel to Amsterdam for the first leg before hosting Ajax at Stamford Bridge a week later. Should The Blues reach the semi-finals, they will meet the winners of the SK Brann v FC Barcelona tie.

The semi-final first legs will take place on 20/21 April 2024 with the second legs being scheduled for 27/28 April 2024.

This season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League final will take place at San Mamés in Bilbao, Spain on 25 May 2024.
