Crystal Palace midfielder Chloe Arthur has signed a one-year contract extension with the club ahead of the new season.

The Eagles announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

Arthur joined Crystal Palace in summer 2022 following the club’s switch to full-time professional operations. The midfielder has gone on to make 31 appearances for the South Londoners in the Barclays Women’s Championship in which she has scored one goal. Arthur was a member of the Crystal Palace side that won the Barclays Women’s Championship title this season along with promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The midfielder has plenty of top tier experience under her belt and she will now have the opportunity to play Barclays Women’s Super League football again after signing a new deal at Crystal Palace.

After agreeing to retain Arthur’s services for another year, Crystal Palace’s Head of Women’s Football, Grace Williams said “We are happy that Chloe has signed a new contract and has extended her stay in South London.

“Chloe is a great professional and we really value that and her leadership off the pitch, which will be integral during our journey in the Super League.”

Arthur joins teammate Molly Sharpe in signing a new contract with Crystal Palace this summer.
