Chelsea have completed the signing of French international forward Sandy Baltimore on a four-year deal.

Baltimore was also a UEFA Women’s Champions League runner-up with the French club in 2016/2017.

On the international stage, Baltimore has been capped by France on 28 occasions while she has scored three goals for her country.

After completing her move to Chelsea, Baltimore said “I’m very happy to join Chelsea, it feels incredible. I have always wanted to play for Chelsea and now look, it has happened!”

Chelsea’s general manager Paul Green also commented on the transfer. He said “We are delighted to bring Sandy to Chelsea. She is an exciting wide player who will give more balance to the squad, adding another naturally left-footed player.

“Sandy has gained a wealth of experience in France including within the UEFA Women’s Champions League and will bring more competition to the squad. We are looking forward to seeing her in Chelsea blue.”
