Aston Villa forward Georgia Mullett has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Villans this morning.

It has been reported that Mullett has signed on with Aston Villa until summer 2027.

The 19-year-old England youth international forward is a product of the Aston Villa academy system. She made her senior debut for The Villans as a substitute in their 3-1 home victory over Reading in the Barclays Women’s Super League in November 2022. Mullett has gone on to make 14 appearances for Aston Villa in all competitions. She is still awaiting her first goal for the club at senior level.

Mullett has a big future ahead of her and Aston Villa have therefore moved quickly to secure her services for the long term.

After agreeing fresh terms with Mullett, Aston Villa manager Robert de Pauw said “We see Georgia as a young prospect with high potential. We want to help her maximise the ability she has and we are very happy to have a young striker like her in the team. We look forward to watching her develop in the years to come.”

Aston Villa are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Leicester City to Villa Park.
