London City Lionesses have completed the impressive signing of French international midfielder Grace Geyoro on a permanent deal.

The Pride announced the news via a post on their official club X account this morning.

The 28-year-old moves to Hayes Lane from French Arkema Première Ligue club Paris Saint-Germain. It is believed that London City Lionesses have paid a significant transfer fee to secure the player’s services, although it is not known whether the world transfer record has been broken.

Geyoro joined Paris Saint-Germain in her youth and she successfully negotiated her way through the various age groups before making her mark on the senior team. The midfielder has been a first team player for the last nine years. She has made close to 300 appearances in all competitions in a Paris Saint-Germain shirt while she has won one Arkema Première Ligue title and three French Cups with the club. Geyoro has also been a member of two Paris Saint-Germain sides that have reached the UEFA Women’s Champions League final.

On the international stage, Geyoro has been capped by France on 103 occasions while she has scored 23 goals for her country.

Geyoro will be available for selection for London City Lionesses once the necessary international clearance has been received.
