West Ham United have confirmed the news that Shelina Zadorsky, Verena Hanshaw, Camila Sáez, Soraya Walsh and Emily Taylor-Brown will all be leaving the club when their current contracts expire at the end of the month.

The Hammers announced their summer exit list via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

Canadian international defender Zadorsky has been a hugely important player for West Ham United over the last two-and-a-half seasons. She has made 50 appearances for the club in all competitions and has been a leading voice in the dressing room and on the pitch.

Austrian full-back Hanshaw has spent 18 months with the East Londoners in which she has made 33 appearances while Sáez was a summer 2024 arrival and she has appeared 14 times for the club.

Youngsters Walsh and Taylor-Brown have both largely spent time within the West Ham United Professional Game Academy League team. They will hope to now get the opportunity for regular senior minutes in the game with new clubs.

Experienced midfielder Katrina Gorry is also leaving The Chigwell Construction Stadium with her departure having already been announced while star striker Shekiera Martinez agreed a deal to join West Ham United’s Barclays Women’s Super League rivals Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer.
