Juventus have completed the permanent signing of Chelsea midfielder Júlia Bartel on a three-year deal.

The Bianconere announced news of the deal via a post on their official club website earlier today.

The 22-year-old Spanish youth international has endured a challenging two-year spell with Chelsea after joining the club from FC Barcelona in summer 2024. The midfielder has been able to make just two appearances for The Blues in all competitions. She has spent time out on loan at Liverpool and Atlético Madrid.

Bartel needs a fresh start at a new club and she will now hope to make an impact in the Italian Serie A Women Athora with Juventus.

After joining the Bianconere, Bartel said “I’m really happy to be here. Juventus are a great club, both in Italy and in Europe, and the project they’re pursuing is what drew me here. The club’s ambitions align with my own; that’s why I made this choice. I believe it’s the best move for my career.”

Bartel joins a Juventus side that has competed strongly for silverware in recent years. The Bianconere have been league champions in six out of the last nine years while they won a domestic cup double in 2025/2026.
