Charlton Athletic trio Carla Humphrey, Ellie Mason and Anna Pedersen have signed contract extensions with the club.
The Addicks announced the news via a series of posts on their official club website earlier today.
All three players have signed one-year extensions at The Valley as Charlton Athletic prepare for their first season in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
Midfielder Humphrey joined Charlton Athletic in summer 2023 after leaving Liverpool. The 29-year-old missed virtually all of last season after giving birth to her first child but she returned to help The Addicks defeat Leicester City on penalties in the end of season play-off.
Defender Mason signed on at The Valley last summer after leaving Birmingham City. The 30-year-old made 11 appearances for Charlton Athletic in Barclays WSL2.
Goalkeeper Pedersen joined Charlton Athletic from Rugby Borough last summer. She returned to the second tier after a year away. Pedersen provided some strong goalkeeping competition for the South Londoners last season.
Charlton Athletic have now retained 11 members of their promotion-winning squad for the 2026/2027 season. The club must now start adding more top tier quality to their ranks to strengthen their chances of remaining in the Barclays Women’s Super League for more than one season. Several new arrivals are expected at The Valley in the coming weeks.
