Young Coventry United full-back Holly Chandler has signed a new contract with the club.
Manager Jay Bradford has been working hard putting down the foundations for next season with the young defender now adding her name to the list of players to sign a new contract at the Butts Park Arena.
The Red and Greens confirmed the news in a post on their official club Twitter account this evening.

Chandler came through the Coventry United youth system and she signed senior terms with the club last summer after impressing for the Development Squad. First team manager Bradford handed Chandler her senior debut as Coventry United lost 2-1 at home to Liverpool in early October. The player has since made five further appearances for the club in the FA Women’s Championship. Chandler has also been involved for the club in the domestic cups.
Coventry United have now retained six members of their 2020/2021 squad while last week they announced the impressive signing of FA Women’s Championship top scorer Katie Wilkinson on a free transfer.
The Warwickshire club finished in 10th position in the FA Women’s Championship but they are looking for significant progression next season in what will be their third campaign in the second tier.
