Coventry United have completed the signing of former Leicester City full-back Grace Riglar on a one-year deal.
The 20-year-old Warwick-born defender left The Foxes earlier this week following the expiry of her contract and she has today sealed a move to ambitious FA Women’s Championship club Coventry United.
The Red and Greens confirmed the deal via a post on their official club Twitter account earlier today.

Riglar helped Leicester City to the FA Women’s Championship title last season. She made three league appearances for Jonathan Morgan’s side while she was regularly named in The Foxes’ matchday squad. The player also spent a short period on loan at third tier side West Bromwich Albion.
The youngster started her career on the books of Barclays FA Women’s Super League club Bristol City before joining Leicester City in summer 2019. The player has had a difficult start to her career after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury (ACL) but she will now be looking forward to a bright future with what looks to be an improving Coventry United side.
The Red and Greens have now completed four summer signings. Riglar is being joined at the Butts Park Arena by the FA Women’s Championship’s top scorer Katie Wilkinson, Welsh international midfielder Charlie Estcourt and former Manchester United and Birmingham City midfielder Mollie Green.
Coventry United have recorded back-to-back 10th-place finishes in the FA Women’s Championship but recent signings suggest that the club will be capable of much more this season.
