Barclays FA Women’s Super League club Manchester United will travel to giantkillers Bridgwater United in the fourth round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
The draw for the fourth round took place live on Women’s Football Weekly on talkSPORT2 this evening. The fourth round sees the 12 Barclays FA Women’s Super League sides join the competition alongside those 20 survivors from the third round.
The pick of the ties sees Marc Skinner’s Manchester United meet FA Women’s National League South club Bridgwater United, a side which saw off second tier club Crystal Palace in the third round on Sunday.
Other notable ties include three all-Barclays FA Women’s Super League affairs as Brighton & Hove Albion take on Reading, Aston Villa host Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur welcome Leicester City to The Hive. Current Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal host second tier high-flyers London City Lionesses while Manchester City travel to third tier club Nottingham Forest.
The fourth round ties will take place on Sunday 30 January 2022 with kick-off times to be determined by clubs in due course.
This season’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup final is scheduled to take place on Sunday 15 May 2022.
