Tottenham Hotspur head coach Skinner signs new deal

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Rehanne Skinner has signed a new two-year deal with the club according to reports on Spurs’ official website.

The former England coach has overseen a huge transformation at Spurs this season with The Lilywhites even flirting with the European qualification positions in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. Skinner’s achievements resulted in her recently being linked with the Everton job, a vacancy which has now been filled.

Skinner is one of the most talented young coaches in the game and Spurs have moved quickly to secure her services until summer 2024.

After signing her new contract with Spurs, Skinner said “I’m delighted to sign a new contract. Throughout the course of my time here, I’ve felt really supported by the Club in terms of the vision we have as a collective. We’re on a journey and it’s a chance for us to keep building. We know where we are and where a club of Tottenham Hotspur’s stature should be.

“You can’t underestimate the value of top-quality training facilities and we’ve been supported completely. The Club is meeting my ambitions and we know the direction we want to go in.”

Skinner has taken charge of Spurs in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League on 32 occasions. The North Londoners have won 13 and lost 13 of those games, drawing the remainder.
