There will be four further player departures at West Ham United this summer with Lois Joel, Anna Leat, Kateřina Svitková and Zaneta Wyne all moving on at the end of their contracts according to reports on The Hammers’ official website.
The quartet will join captain Gilly Flaherty in leaving The Chigwell Construction Stadium this summer, the centre-back having already announced her departure after West Ham United’s final game of the season against Arsenal on Sunday. There has also been a change in management at the club with Olli Harder opting for a fresh challenge and assistant Paul Konchesky stepping up.
Czech Republic international midfielder Svitková has arguably been West Ham United’s best player in her two years with the club. She has contributed goals, assists and real quality to the midfield. Defender Joel joined The Hammers during the 2020/2021 campaign following the conclusion of her studies in the United States and has been a useful squad player while goalkeeper Leat and full-back Wyne were Harder signings last summer.
West Ham United have also confirmed that Lisa Evans’ loan spell from Arsenal has ended as scheduled, as has Halle Houssein’s dual-registration deal.
The Hammers have put on record their thanks to all of those players who are departing the club this summer.
