PREVIEW: Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur

North London Derby bragging rights will be on the line when Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur at The Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The first North London Derby of the season is set to be played out in front of an all-time Barclays Women’s Super League record crowd with more than 51,000 tickets having already been sold.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall is expecting to have a full squad available for selection for his side’s second Barclays Women’s Super League game of the 2022/2023 season. Attacker Mana Iwabuchi missed the midweek UEFA Women’s Champions League draw with Ajax due to illness but the Japanese international is now back to full health.

Spurs make the short trip across North London without the services of forward Rosella Ayane who sustained an injury in last weekend’s 2-1 victory at Leicester City. Long term absentees Ria Percival and Kit Graham remain sidelined. Kerys Harrop was a notable absentee last weekend and her condition is not known.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur kicks-off at 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon. Tickets will remain on-sale both online and at the box office on matchday. For online purchases, please click here to visit the Arsenal ticketing portal.
