Everton have announced the news that tickets for Saturday’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Manchester City have now sold out.
The Blue Girls meet The Cityzens in their latest fixture at Walton Hall Park. Tickets for the match have been selling well and the Merseyside club announced via their official club Twitter account that the final tickets were snapped up this morning. A crowd of close to 2,000 are set to now cheer on the two sides on this weekend.
Everton have recorded a sequence of bumper crowds at their purpose-built home so far this season. The Blue Girls moved to Walton Hall Park just before the COVID-19 pandemic which initially impacted their ability to attract new fans but the fanbase has grown significantly this term.
This weekend’s fixture sees an improving Everton side come up against a Manchester City team who are bang in form. The Blue Girls have struggled against the Barclays Women’s Super League’s elite in the past but the Merseyside club are beginning to progress under the guidance of new manager Brian Sørensen. Everton will be hopeful of ending their latest opponents’ five-match winning run, especially with the backing of a bumper crowd.
The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Everton and Manchester City kicks-off at 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
