Aston Villa have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Jill Baijings on a permanent deal.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Villans earlier this morning.
The 24-year-old Dutch international midfielder joins Aston Villa from German Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern Munich.
Baijings is no stranger to Aston Villa fans. The player spent the entire 2024/2025 campaign on loan at Villa Park. Baijings spent some of the season on the sidelines with a niggling injury but she did go on to make 15 appearances for Aston Villa in all competitions in which she scored one goal.
The midfielder started out with Dutch club SC Heerenveen before spending time in Germany with SGS Essen, Bayer Leverkusen and latest club Bayern Munich.
Speaking after her permanent signing was announced, Baijings said “I came here to do a job and to give everything I had for as long as I was needed, but sometimes, the temporary becomes something more.
“They say home is where the heart is and this place right here with you is where I belong. This time, it’s official, I am a Villan.”
Baijings is Aston Villa’s third signing of the summer transfer window.
