Wolves sign Nottingham Forest forward Howe on loan

FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division club Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Nottingham Forest forward Casey Howe on loan for the remainder of the season.

Wolves announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.

The 23-year-old attacker joined Nottingham Forest from SSE Airtricity League Women’s Premier Division club Athlone Town in 2024. Howe has gone on to make 10 appearances for Nottingham Forest in all competitions, winning the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division title with the club in 2024/2025. The player has struggled to get minutes for The Tricky Trees in Barclays WSL2 this season.

On the international stage, Howe is a senior international for Northern Ireland.

After adding Howe to his squad, Wolves boss Dan McNamara said “Casey is someone we have been aware of for a while and a player who will add a different dynamic to our attacking play. Her experience at international level and in WSL 2 will be massive for us and I expect her to be a huge asset to us for the remainder of the season. She has already shown a great enthusiasm for what we are trying to achieve this year, and we look forward to working with her.’

Howe could make her Wolves debut against Rugby Borough on Sunday.
