Arsenal winger Caitlin Foord has signed a new contract with the club.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.
The 31-year-old Australian international joined Arsenal from Sydney FC in the January 2020 transfer window and she has gone on to make a real impact in North London.
In her time as an Arsenal player, Foord has made 203 appearances for the club in all competitions in which she has scored 57 goals. The winger has won the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, the UEFA Women’s Champions League and two Subway Women’s League Cups with The Gunners to date. She is very much a fans’ favourite.
With Foord’s contract coming to an end, Arsenal have moved to retain her services into the 2026/2027 season. She becomes the first player to sign a new deal with Arsenal during the close season.
Foord’s quality and experience will be important for Arsenal next season. After picking up one trophy this term, Renée Slegers’ side will be keen to kick on in 2026/2027. Foord will be hopeful of contributing strongly towards Arsenal’s next pursuit of silverware both domestically and in Europe.
Further Arsenal squad news will be announced in due course.
