Durham have completed the signing of experienced forward Jade Pennock.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Wildcats this evening.
The 33-year-old joins Durham after most recently playing her football in the all-new Gainbridge Super League in the United States for Sporting Club Jacksonville. JAX finished the 2025/2026 season in second position before being defeated in the play-off semi-finals.
Prior to her spell Stateside, Pennock enjoyed a long career in the English game which has seen her turn out for the likes of Doncaster Rovers Belles, Sheffield United and Birmingham City. She was a WSL2 winner with Belles back in 2017/2018 before the club resigned from the elite game.
After joining Durham, Pennock said “I’m really excited to be here. I was ready to come back and play in England again and I’ve played against Durham lots – it’s a difficult place to come.
“I like that it’s a tight-knit squad and it’s definitely somewhere I’ll fit in. I want to fit in with the team, play well, bring what I can bring to the team and contribute.”
Pennock is the first player to join Durham since the club’s long-term future was secured by new investors last month.
