Southampton defender Mott signs new deal

Southampton defender Milly Mott has signed a new contract with the club.

The Saints announced the news via a post on their official club website earlier today.

The 22-year-old full-back has agreed fresh terms with Southampton for the 2026/2027 season.

Mott is Southampton through and through. She joined the club’s Under-14s side from the Dorset Regional Talent Centre and successfully negotiated her way to the senior team. Mott has gone on to make 134 first team appearances for Southampton in all competitions. She has won a whole host of honours with The Saints including the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division, FA Women’s National League Championship Play-Off final and the FA Women’s National League Cup. Mott has played a key role in helping Southampton rise through the pyramid.

The defender is one of Southampton’s best young players and she has provided the club with a real boost by signing a new contract.

After signing on again with Southampton, Mott said “I’m really excited to be staying, it’s the club I’ve called home for so long and I’m looking forward to continuing my journey here.

“I can’t wait to see all the fans again soon and kick on for the season ahead.”

Further Southampton squad news will be announced by the club in due course.
