West Ham United have completed the signing of Everton forward Kelly Gago on a permanent deal.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this afternoon.
It has been reported that Everton have received a club-record transfer fee from West Ham United for Gago’s services. The player has signed a three-year deal at The Chigwell Construction Stadium.
The 27-year-old joined Everton from French club FC Nantes in the January 2025 transfer window. She went on to score 10 goals in 30 appearances for The Toffees in all competitions.
Prior to her time with Everton, Gago turned out for VGA Saint-Maur, Dijon FCO, AS Saint-Étienne, UC Sampdoria, Parma Calcio and FC Nantes.
On the international stage, Gago has been capped by France on 14 occasions in which she has scored three goals.
After joining West Ham United, Gago said “I’m very happy to be joining West Ham United. The family-feel of the Club really appealed to me, and I’m excited to join that family.
“I’m going to give everything in order to help the team reach our ambitions, and I’m really looking forward to getting started in Claret and Blue.”
Gago is West Ham United’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window.
