Blackburn Rovers youngsters Carra Jones and Lara Beeley have joined FA Women’s National League Division One North club Chorley on loan.
Both players were in and around the fringes of Gemma Donnelly’s first team last season but are in need of some senior experience before being given regular outings in the Rovers side.
Beeley is a defender who made her first team debut in the 5-2 defeat to Aston Villa in the group stage of the FA Women’s Continental League Cup last season. The teenager was also named on the bench for a couple of Rovers’ FA Women’s Championship fixtures.
Forward Jones netted a goal on her senior debut against Bradford City at the end of the 2018/2019 season. The player was given a couple of outings for Rovers last season in both the FA Women’s Continental League Cup and FA Women’s Championship.
Chorley have this evening confirmed via their official Twitter account that the pair have joined the club on loan.

The talented youngsters have been very impressive so far and we look forward to seeing them develop this season.
