New Tottenham Hotspur head coach Rehanne Skinner will take charge of the club for the first time this afternoon as they face Brighton & Hove Albion in a Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture at The Hive.
The North Londoners recently parted company with former joint-head coaches Karen Hills and Juan Amoros with Skinner quickly installed as their successor.
Spurs go into their meeting with The Seagulls winless in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League so far this season. It has been a case of fine lines for The North Londoners who have drawn both of their last two matches. Spurs go into their latest fixture without long-term absentees Aurora Mikalsen and Chloe Peplow. Jess Naz has returned to training but is not yet fit to feature while Anna Filbey and Kit Graham could again be absent.
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Hope Powell is hoping that she may be able to call upon Megan Connolly, Rebekah Stott and Victoria Williams following their recent injury problems. Forward Ellie Brazil could make the bench following her lengthly injury lay-off.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion is scheduled to kick-off at 2pm and will be available for fans to stream live on the FA Player.
