Manchester United’s Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Manchester City will now take place on Saturday 25 January and will kick-off at 12.45pm.
The tie was originally scheduled to take place on the following day but has been brought forward a little over 24 hours.
The pair go head-to-head in the ‘Tie of the Round’. Manchester United are bidding to reach their first domestic cup final this season while opponents Manchester City begin their defence of the Women’s FA Cup trophy after defeating West Ham United 3-0 in last season’s final at Wembley.

Manchester City beat Manchester United 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium on the opening day of the season in the FA Women’s Super League while the roles were reversed in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup as United recorded a historic 2-0 victory at the Leigh Sports Village.
The upcoming Women’s FA Cup fourth round tie was set to clash with both Manchester United and Manchester City’s men’s fixtures with United travelling to Watford or Tranmere Rovers and City hosting Fulham in Emirates FA Cup fourth round ties. The switch in date now means that fans of both clubs can attend the Manchester derby as well as their sides’ respective men’s fixtures the following day.
