Manchester City forward Jess Park has signed her first professional terms at The Academy Stadium according to reports on the club’s official website.
The 18-year-old Brough-born striker has been on City’s books for the last two-and-a-half years and has quickly broken into the first team environment at the City Football Academy.
The Manchester City coaching staff see huge potential in Park and it has now been revealed that the player has signed a three-year professional deal which will keep her with the FA Women’s Super League leaders until summer 2023.
The teenager spent her youth with Hull City and York City before joining Manchester City in October 2017. Park made her senior debut for City less than two months after joining the club in a 3-2 victory over Doncaster Rovers Belles in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres Cup. She came on for the last 20 minutes of the match at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Park has since gone on to make several more first team appearances for City while she netted her first senior hat-trick for the club in their 10-0 Women’s FA Cup victory over Ipswich Town at The Academy Stadium in February. The striker was an unused substitute as City drew 3-3 with Chelsea in their last FA Women’s Super League fixture.
