Everton will wear kits manufactured by Danish sportswear brand Hummel for the next three seasons with the club having today revealed a new kit deal.
The Blue Girls have been wearing kits produced by Cheshire-based sportswear company Umbro since the 2014 season but Willie Kirk’s side will have a very new look when they hopefully return to action come autumn.
Everton announced the deal on their official website earlier today, with the agreement being labelled as a ‘club-record’ deal. The new partnership is a positive move for Everton and comes at a time in which the Merseyside club are looking to strengthen the profile of their women’s side. Everton are committed to investing in their women’s team both on and off the pitch and a record kit deal will certainly boost the coffers as the club continue to build on their ‘one-club mentality’.
Hummel kits will be worn by two Barclays FA Women’s Super League clubs throughout the 2020/2021. The long-standing Danish brand have also agreed a deal to manufacture Bristol City’s kits from next season.
In the FA Women’s Championship, Charlton Athletic and Durham have both been wearing Hummel kits throughout the 2019/2020 campaign.
Further details of Everton’s new 2020/2021 Hummel home and away kits will be revealed in due course.
