Arsenal head coach Joe Montemurro and Manchester United boss Casey Stoney have been voted as the joint-favourites to win the first Barclays FA Women’s Super League Manager of the Month award of the season by readers of FA Women’s Super League Full-Time.

The Gunners have finished September top of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League following large back-to-back victories over Reading and West Ham United while Manchester United have collected four points following an impressive 1-1 draw with champions Chelsea and a 5-2 away success at Birmingham City.

Alongside Montemurro and Stoney, Everton boss Willie Kirk and Brighton & Hove Albion manager Hope Powell have also made the shortlist. Everton have collected six points from wins over both Bristol City and Tottenham Hotspur while Albion have beaten Birmingham City and caused a major upset in drawing at Manchester City.

The winner of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League’s Manager of the Month award is set to be announced once voting closes on Friday but FA Women’s Super League Full-Time wanted to know in advance who fans want to win the gong.
