Manchester City are the favourites lift the 2019/2020 Vitality Women’s FA Cup according to the results of a series of exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time fan polls.
Gareth Taylor’s side take on Everton at Wembley this afternoon as they look to retain the trophy which they currently hold following their 3-0 victory over West Ham United in last season’s final 18 months ago.
FA Women’s Super League Full-Time wanted to get the opinions of the fans ahead of this afternoon’s showpiece at Wembley and we staged a series of fan polls on the potential outcome.
First, we asked fans which club they think will be lifting the trophy a little later this afternoon. Manchester City came out on top after attracting a huge 73.2% of the overall votes.
Next, we asked fans how many goals will be scored in this afternoon’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup final. Two or three goals to be scored in normal time was the most favourable outcome with 75.8% of the votes while 21.2% of voters believe that there could be four goals or more scored in the match. Just 3% of voters think that one goal will decide the tie while there were no votes cast for a 0-0 draw.
Finally, we wanted to know how fans think the 2019/2020 Vitality Women’s FA Cup will be decided. The most popular response was in normal time which attracted 91.2% of the votes while 5.9% have a feeling that the tie may go as far as the lottery of penalty kicks. Just 2.9% are predicting an extra-time victory for either side.
The 2019/2020 Vitality Women’s FA Cup final kicks-off at 2.30pm at Wembley Stadium and will be screened live on BBC One, BT Sport 1 and on the FA Player.
