Weston becomes the second English player to move to the Stadio Antonio Antonucci this season with the defender joining her former London Bees colleague Danielle Lea at the Italian side. Her first task will be to help Pink Sport Bari retain their top flight status with the club currently sitting second-bottom of the table after collecting just three points from an available 24 so far this season. Weston could make her Pink Sport Bari debut against Sassuolo on Sunday 6 December.
During her time with Coventry United, Weston has made 15 appearances for the club in the FA Women’s Championship. She made her final appearance in red and green last week as the club lost 4-0 at home to Sheffield United in the group stage of the FA Women’s Continental League Cup.
The former England youth international’s move to Pink Sport Bari will see her play overseas for the first time in her career.
