Coventry United have completed the signing of attacker Georgia Stevens from Icelandic Urvalsdeild Kvenna club Thor / KA.
The 20-year-old forward becomes Coventry United manager Jay Bradford’s first January transfer window signing with the player having been handed the number 10 shirt by the Warwickshire club.
Coventry United announced the signing of Stevens via a post on their official club Twitter account this morning.

Stevens played Icelandic top flight football towards the end of 2020 with former club Thor / KA. The player made four appearances for the club, totalling 279 minutes of first team football. The forward was also previously on the books of Coventry United’s FA Women’s Championship rivals Sheffield United, although Stevens struggled for senior game time with The Blades at such a young age.
The news of Stevens’ arrival at the Butts Park Arena adds to what has already been a very busy week for The Red and Greens. Young goalkeeper Olivia Clark signed a long-term contract with the club before ever-present defender Anna Wilcox put pen to paper on a professional deal on Tuesday.
The signing of Stevens is not expected to be the final business done by Coventry United boss Bradford in the current transfer window. Recent investment in the club means that funds are likely to be available for Bradford to make further additions to her squad as Coventry United look to push on up the FA Women’s Championship table.
