Bristol City will be hoping to record their first victory of the season in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League when Brighton & Hove Albion are the visitors to Twerton Park on Sunday.
The Robins have collected just two points from 10 league matches so far and the club are in deep relegation trouble.
Bristol City go into their meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion having conceded 14 goals in their last three matches. The Robins have been defeated 4-0 in both of their last two home fixtures against fellow strugglers Aston Villa and West Ham United while they lost 6-1 to Manchester United at The Leigh Sports Village last time out.
Manager Tanya Oxtoby has not indicated that her side will have any new absentees this weekend while midfielder Aimee Palmer could be given further game time after making her return for injury against former club Manchester United.
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Hope Powell will have a depleted squad to take to Bath on Sunday. A number of Albion players are currently self-isolating while The Seagulls are also struggling with injuries. Powell wanted the game to be postponed, however, The Football Association have instructed the club that the game must be played.
Bristol City’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion is scheduled to kick-off at 2pm on Sunday afternoon and will be available to stream live on the FA Player.
