Burnley will host Manchester United while Gillingham will travel to Arsenal in the fourth round of this season’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
The Clarets saw off Sunderland on penalties after a goalless draw in Padiham in their third round tie to land their historic tie against Manchester United while Gillingham won 2-1 at Cheltenham Town to seal an away tie at Arsenal, the competition’s most successful club.
Elsewhere, Chichester & Selsey’s 2-1 win at Leyton Orient set up a fourth round tie at West Ham United while victories for Middlesbrough, Oxford United, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have resulted in those clubs landing fourth round ties against FA Women’s Championship opposition. Huddersfield Town will play Derby County in the only tie not involving a side from the top two tiers.
The 16 fourth round ties are set to take place over the course of next weekend with many dates and kick-off times yet to be determined. No ties are expected to take place during the funeral of Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, on Saturday afternoon.
