Former Liverpool forward Kess Elmore and former Manchester City defender Anna Phillips have joined Oregon Ducks Soccer for the 2021 season according to reports on the American club’s official website.
The pair are two of six players to join the Ducks for the fall 2021 season with the club also acquiring the services of three American players and one Australian player.
Former Liverpool forward Elmore has been in the United States for some time with the player having previously represented Connecticut Huskies where she has netted 31 goals in a four-year spell. The 22-year-old was a Women’s FA Youth Cup winner with former club Liverpool while she won a number of personal accolades during her time with The Reds.
Former Manchester City defender Phillips has joined Elmore in the United States. Prior to leaving The Academy Stadium, the 18-year-old made the bench for the senior team on three occasions after successfully making the step up from the Manchester City Development Squad. The England youth international is rated highly after starring in Manchester City’s academy system.
The 2021 schedule for the Oregon Ducks Soccer is yet to be announced, although the club are now working hard to put together their final roster for the new season.
