Winger Ashworth-Clifford joined Lewes during the January transfer window and the former Lamar University student has gone on to make a real impact in a short period of time at The Dripping Pan. The player has featured nine times for Lewes in the FA Women’s Championship and has made a name for herself with her pace, skill and dangerous deliveries into the opposition box.
Forward Timms joined Lewes last summer after dazzling for former club Oxford United in the FA Women’s National League South. Timms netted one league goal in 16 appearances for Lewes on her return to the second tier. There is undoubtedly much more to come from the player after netting 16 goals for Oxford United in curtailed 2019/2020 season.
The pair join goalkeeper Tatiana Saunders, defenders Rhian Cleverly, Nicola Cousins and Sophie O’Rourke and midfielders Zoe Cross and Paula Howells in signing on at Lewes again for next season.
