Crystal Palace have completed the signing of forward Molly Sharpe on a free transfer.
The attacker moves to Hayes Lane off the back of a two-season stay with last season’s FA Women’s Championship runners-up Durham.
Sharpe netted 10 goals in 33 league games for The Wildcats in what was a productive spell in the North East for the Yorkshire-born striker.
Crystal Palace announced the signing of Sharpe via a post on their official club Twitter account earlier this morning. The player becomes the seventh new arrival at Hayes Lane so far this summer.

Sharpe started her career in West Yorkshire with Bradford City. The player then moved to the United States where she combined playing football with her studies at Miami’s Barry University over a four-year period. Sharpe netted 14 goals and provided 13 assists in her senior year in the United States.
Upon returning to England, Sharpe joined Durham and the player became one of the focal points of The Wildcats’ attack as they pushed hard for promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League against the odds.
The 24-year-old will now be looking to build on her goalscoring record in South London with new club Crystal Palace.
