Coventry United forward Georgia Stevens has announced the news that she has joined Portuguese club Länk FC Vilaverdense for the coming season.
The 21-year-old attacker spent the second half of last season at the Butts Park Arena but she has now agreed a move to the Campeonato Nacional de Futebol Feminino.
The player announced the move via a post on her personal Twitter account last night.

The move will see Stevens play her football overseas for the second time in her career following her spell with Icelandic club Thór / KA in 2020.
In her short time with Coventry United, Stevens netted one goal in nine appearances in all competitions. She was on target as The Red and Greens were defeated 5-1 at Birmingham City in the fourth round of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup in May.
The Merseyside-born forward was on the books of both Liverpool and Everton as a youth. She started out her nomadic senior career with Blackburn Rovers before spending time with Sheffield United. The player was loaned out by The Blades to FA Women’s National League clubs AFC Fylde and Huddersfield Town to gain first team playing opportunities.
Stevens’ senior career is just five years in but can only be described as a fascinating journey. The next intriguing instalment will now begin in the Portuguese municipality of Vila Vilde with Länk FC Vilaverdense.
