Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League when the pair meet at The People’s Pension Stadium on Sunday.
The Seagulls lost 2-0 at Reading last time out while Manchester United are winless in their last four league matches, a run which dates back to early October.
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Hope Powell confirmed in her pre-match press conference that Kayleigh Green is doubtful for the match due to illness while Inessa Kaagman is required to self-isolate and will not be available. Back-up goalkeeper Katie Startup could make the squad after being recalled from her loan spell at Liverpool.
Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner has confirmed that Dutch midfielder Jackie Groenen has not yet recovered from her hamstring injury while Martha Harris is also in rehabilitation. Both players will not feature for The Red Devils again until after Christmas.
It is understood that both teams have a couple of niggles in their respective squads therefore further players could be unavailable for selection following final assessment.
