FA Women’s Continental League Cup holders Chelsea must travel to West Ham United in the quarter-finals of this season’s competition.
The Blues won the 2020/2021 competition with a 6-0 final victory over Bristol City at Vicarage Road. Emma Hayes’ side were given a bye to the quarter-finals of this season’s competition after qualifying for the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The other notable tie in the FA Women’s Continental League Cup quarter-finals sees Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal host Marc Skinner’s evolving Manchester United side at Meadow Park. The Red Devils will want to gain revenge for a 2-0 home defeat to The Gunners in the league just last month.
The two second tier sides confirmed in the quarter-finals must travel away from home. Liverpool will face in-from Tottenham Hotspur at The Hive while Bristol City must wait until the New Year to learn of their opponents, The Robins are facing a trip to either Charlton Athletic, Leicester City or Manchester City. The last quarter-finalist will be determined once last week’s postponed fixture between Leicester City and Manchester City is played.
