Brighton & Hove Albion will look to finally get one over on Reading when the two sides meet at The People’s Pension Stadium on Sunday.
The Royals have a near-perfect record against The Seagulls with the Sussex club still searching for their first victory against Kelly Chambers’ side. The two sides have already met twice this season with Reading winning both of those matches in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League and Vitality Women’s FA Cup.
Brighton & Hove Albion are set to welcome Lee Geum-min back to the club following her involvement for South Korea at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022 but manager Hope Powell has confirmed that the player will not feature on Sunday. Powell’s squad are in good shape and the club have no injury concerns going into the weekend.
Reading boss Kelly Chambers is without attacker Brooke Chaplen who has just undergone surgery on a bone tumour. Full-back Emma Mitchell remains on maternity leave while The Royals are not expected to have any fresh injury concerns off the back of last weekend’s 2-1 win at Everton.
The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Brighton & Hove Albion and Reading is scheduled to kick-off at 2pm on Sunday. Tickets remain on sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
