Leicester City loanee Esther Morgan has returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur after sustaining an injury.
The 19-year-old Londoner joined The Foxes on loan on Transfer Deadline Day with the player in need of more regular football but her stay at The King Power Stadium has been disrupted by an injury.
Leicester City confirmed the news this evening via a post on their official club Twitter account. It has been reported that Morgan will undergo her rehabilitation with parent club Spurs but her season is not thought to be over with the youngster set to return to Leicester City once she has regained fitness.

Morgan has made two appearances for Leicester City so far, both of which have come from the bench. The Foxes have won both of the games in which Morgan has appeared against Birmingham City and West Ham United respectively.
After making the breakthrough at senior level with Spurs last season, Morgan endured a tough first half of this season with the North Londoners. The player was named as a substitute for 12 matches in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League but she was not called upon in any of those games by Spurs head coach Rehanne Skinner.
Morgan will be hoping to regain fitness as soon as possible so that she can get more minutes under her belt and develop further.
