Arsenal’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea now officially a sellout

Sunday’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup semi-final tie between Arsenal and Chelsea at the LV Bet Stadium in Boreham Wood is now officially a sellout.

Arsenal revealed yesterday that just 50 tickets were remaining but those have now all been sold, meaning that the two sides will contest their semi-final tie in-front of a packed out crowd of over 4,000.

The tie is the standout of the two semi-finals with Arsenal and Chelsea having contested the 2020/2021 Vitality Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium back in December. Chelsea won that tie 3-0 thanks to a goal from Fran Kirby and a brace from Sam Kerr. Arsenal will very much be out for revenge for that defeat on Sunday.

Arsenal and Chelsea fans who were unable to get tickets for Sunday’s semi-final will be able to watch the game live on BBC Two.

Tickets for the other semi-final between West Ham United and Manchester City remain on-sale with fans likely to be able to purchase up until kick-off. That game takes place tomorrow lunchtime at The Chigwell Construction Stadium in Dagenham. The tie will also be broadcast live on BBC One.

This season’s Vitality Women’s FA Cup final is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 15 May 2022.
