Chelsea will hope to complete a league double over Tottenham Hotspur when the pair meet at Kingsmeadow on Thursday evening.
The two sides met in the reverse fixture at The Hive on Sunday. On that occasion, Chelsea came from behind to defeat Spurs 3-1 despite having goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger dismissed in the first half.

Tottenham Hotspur have lost both of their Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixtures at Chelsea without scoring. The Lilywhites lost 1-0 in-front of a huge crowd of more than 24,000 at Stamford Bridge in 2019/2020 before going down 4-0 to The Blues at Kingsmeadow last season.
Best v worst disciplinary records
Having collected 32 cards this season (31 yellow and one red), Spurs go into the latest match bottom of the disciplinary table. Meanwhile, Chelsea have collected the least number of cards, their tally of 13 is made up of 12 yellows and one red. Their only dismissal came against Spurs on Sunday when keeper Berger was sent-off.
Spurs missing top tacklers
Spurs defender Ashleigh Neville is the Barclays FA Women’s Super League’s top tackler with 54 tackles won while Ria Percival also features in the top 10 with her tally of 34 tackles won. Neither of those players will be in the Spurs squad on Thursday with Neville suspended and Percival recovering from a long term injury. Chelsea’s top tackler is Erin Cuthbert who ranks in joint-second with 40 tackles won.
Kerr has a good record against Spurs
Chelsea forward Sam Kerr has scored four goals in her last three outings against Spurs in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League. The Australian international scored one goal in Chelsea’s 4-0 victory over Spurs at Kingsmeadow last season while she netted both goals in a 2-0 away win. Kerr was also on target for The Blues in their 3-1 victory at The Hive on Sunday.
