FA Women’s Championship title-winners Liverpool have this afternoon confirmed that first team trio Jade Bailey, Meikayla Moore and Rianna Dean will leave the club at the end of their contracts.
The Reds announced the news via an update on their official club website. Liverpool have additionally confirmed that Charlotte Wardlaw will return to Chelsea upon the expiry of her loan while youngster Evie Smith is also moving on.
Midfielder Bailey has spent the last three seasons with The Reds but was restricted to just two starts in the FA Women’s Championship this season with manager Matt Beard regularly naming her as a substitute. The 26-year-old has made more than 50 appearances for the Merseyside club.
New Zealand international full-back Moore joined Liverpool following their relegation to the second tier in 2020. The player has made 24 appearances for The Reds in their two seasons in the FA Women’s Championship. Like Bailey, Moore has struggled to nail down a starting place this season.
Forward Dean netted two goals in three league outings for Liverpool after joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur but long term injury has really restricted her progress at Prenton Park.
