Bristol City midfielder Bull signs new deal

Bristol City midfielder Chloe Bull has signed a new contract with the club for next season according to reports on The Robins’ official website.

The 27-year-old joined Bristol City from Cardiff City Ladies last summer and she went on to enjoy a hugely successful first season at The Robins’ High Performance Centre.

Bull made 17 appearances for The Robins in the Barclays Women’s Championship while she scored six goals. The midfielder is one of a number of players to have signed new terms with Bristol City this summer.

After signing on again with Lauren Smith’s side, Bull said “I’m very happy to sign a new deal with Bristol City as I have really enjoyed my time here since I arrived at last summer. Being a full-time professional is something that I was new to at the start of last season but I have really enjoyed as it’s what you dream about when you start your football journey.

“I’ve loved every minute here and can’t wait to get going next season as I think we have a very talented group and along with the coaching staff. Together, I believe we can have a successful season.

“I also have Lauren (Smith) to thank as she put the trust in me to go out and perform every week and hopefully, I’ve repaid her with the performances I put in.”

Bristol City will be aiming for a renewed promotion push in 2022/2023 after finishing this campaign in third place in the Barclays Women’s Championship table.
